It's how I feared the most-I'm afraid the dreaded patch of doom may have butchered my save beyond repair. The Neighbourhood Stories patch was also a nightmare for me, and I've never turned on the option since it wrecked me my game something tells me this one is going to go just as well.Īrgh. I tried to deactivate the Wants & Fears then Save, but that didn't change anything for me. At some point, I get thrown back to the Worlds menu only then can you access the Gameplay options, which are greyed out in the initial menu. I get an interminable loop of the loading screen. If I'd known, I'd have waited even longer to update the game! Alas! No one ever spoke of the whims_tracker issue. I've had the stupid issue for about a week now-I had postponed updating for as long as it would take everyone to update their respective mods (and for the Sims Studios to release the ritual batch fix) and I thought I had it all covered I have many, many mods and I take great care of keeping them up to date.
When you say new save, you mean a new game? Or do you mean, load a household, turn off the Wants & Fears, then Save/Save As?
